AM urges public to have their say on proposed Ruabon development

CLWYD SOUTH LABOUR AM KEN SKATES is urging members of the public to have their say on plans for a new development which would include a supermarket between Ruabon and Plas Madoc.

Formal planning permission could be sought from Wrexham County Borough Council later this year for the scheme on 56.5 acres of agricultural land, which will also include more than 300 homes as well as offices and light industrial units.

The proposals will go on public display from 10am-7.30pm on Friday September 20 at the Wynnstay Arms, Ruabon, and from 10am-4pm on Saturday September 21 at Plas Madoc Community Centre.

KEN SKATES AM said: “The plans going on display for members of the public to see is an important opportunity for people in Ruabon and Plas Madoc. This is your community and this is your chance to make your voices heard.

“People will be on hand to answer any questions you might have and your feedback will be used to fine-tune the proposals before the formal planning permission is sought.
