Coedpoeth lunch club welcomes Clwyd South AM and MP

An AM and MP discussed a range of issues with older people during a visit to a Coedpoeth lunch club.

Labour pair Ken Skates and Susan Elan Jones, the Assembly Member and MP for Clwyd South respectively, dropped into the parish hall on Friday afternoon (February 6) to chat to members.

Ms Jones said: “The Youth at Heart Luncheon Club in Coedpoeth celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. I’ve never had anything but the warmest of welcomes there, and Friday was no different. Ken and I are grateful to George Barry Jones for inviting us along.”

Mr Skates added: “I really enjoyed the visit and it was great to chat with so many of our constituents, who were very welcoming. I look forward to going back.”
