Assembly Member Ken Skates visited a primary school to hear how children are tackling the growing problem of plastic pollution.

New Welsh Labour Government funding will make roads in Cefn Mawr safer after a campaign.

County councillor Derek Wright this week welcomed the £66,000 grant to Cefn Community Council through the Welsh Government’s Local Transport Fund, which will also see 20mph zones and traffic-calming measures in Acrefair, Newbridge, Plas Madoc and Rhosymedre. Assembly Member Ken Skates has praised major Welsh Government investment in his constituency ahead of the official opening of brand new facilities at a local school.
