Clwyd South AM Ken Skates delivers Chirk Post Office update

CLWYD South Assembly Member Ken Skates says a decision over the future of Chirk Post Office will be announced soon.

The Labour AM has been in regular contact with Post Office bosses during recent months over the relocation of the town’s branch.

Mr Skates said: “The Post Office recently held a public consultation over a new location for the Chirk branch, which has now come to an end. I have been in frequent contact with the relevant people and have been told a decision will be announced shortly.

“I have been assured that if the relocation does go ahead there will be no impact on the postal service in the town. I will continue to press the Post Office for updates so I can keep my constituents up to date with what’s happening.”
