Clwyd South AM Ken Skates opens new spa at The Hand at Llanarmon, Wrexham

Assembly Member Ken Skates officially opened a new luxury spa at a highly rated Wrexham restaurant and boutique hotel.

The Clwyd South AM was at The Hand at Llanarmon on Friday, a four-star rural inn where owners Jonathan and Jackie Greatorex recently completed a £50,000 refurbishment.

Mr Skates said: “The Hand is something of a hidden gem, but its reputation extends far beyond rural Wrexham. It’s a small hotel but it’s a proud member of the Welsh Rarebits Collection and has a Michelin Guide restaurant – one of only 54 in Wales.”

Mr Skates added: “Jonathan and Jackie have done an incredible job here and the new spa looks amazing. I was delighted to officially open it and I’m sure it will add to the fantastic tourism offer in our corner of North Wales.”
