Amateur artists of all ages are being asked to get creative for a Christmas competition which could see their design delivered across the area.
Although there are still almost 10 weeks until December 25th, Clwyd South Assembly Member Ken Skates and his Westminster counterpart Susan Elan Jones MP are searching for inspiration for their festive card.
The Labour pair are inviting everyone in their constituency to take part and are hoping to receive entries from schools, individuals and art groups alike.
But prospective Picassos and wannabe Warhols don’t have long to manufacture their masterpieces – the closing date is November 1st.
Ken said: “We will be sending cards to thousands of people across the constituency, so we are looking for something special. The standard is always incredibly high, and I don’t expect this year to be any different.”
Last year’s winner was Sam Jones from Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy in Cynwyd, near Corwen.
Susan added: “The competition is always great fun and it’s never easy to choose from the array of fabulous entries we receive. I look forward to be able to send out another magical Christmas card courtesy of the talented people of Clwyd South.”
Entries should be sent to Ken’s office at Unit 19, The Malthouse, Regent Street, Llangollen, LL20 8HS, or emailed to [email protected] by November 1st.
